Beginnings Nursery School, a 35-year-old preschool in the Gramercy Park area of NYC is holding its 13th auction fundraiser to benefit the Beginnings scholarship fund. This year, our auction will consist of a one-week, online auction accompanied by a party and live auction. The evening event, the Hill Country Hootenanny, will be held on Tuesday, April 16th at Hill Country on West 26th St.

The scholarship fund has helped over 55 families for the past 25 years, enabling us to provide opportunities and enrich our school by creating a more diverse community. In addition to supporting new and current families, we are thrilled to partner with Girls Prep Lower East Side this year, a local K-4 charter school providing girls from all over NYC high-quality education to
support their success on the path to college and beyond. Our goal is to cover 100% of the tuition for as many siblings of current Girls Prep students to attend our school before entering kindergarten.

The scholarship fund is supported entirely through donations from Beginnings' families, alumni, and friends. Our last auction, in 2017, was a terrific success. We received over 300 donated items and raised over $250,000 directly for the scholarship fund!
