The Union Square Partnership is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization that works to ensure the Union Square district's continued growth + success by providing a wide-range of services and programs including visioning and planning, sustainability, economic development, beautification, sanitation, and marketing and events like Summer in the Square, Harvest in the Square, Union Square Sweat Fest and more.

During the winter season, the Clean Team trades bistro furniture for snow shovels as they work to clear pathways, catch basins and fire hydrants to supplement the City's snow removal services.

 

 

USP installs festival holiday lights along 14th Street and around Union Square Park to light up streets during the darkest months of the year.

This summer, USP unveiled a brand new seating area on the west side of the park complete with new umbrellas, bistro furniture, and beautiful plantings.

 

 

The Clean Team works year-round to remove trash, set up, clean and maintain popular seating areas in the park and plazas, and power-wash high traffic areas.

 

 

USP continues to invest in maintaining the infrastructure, landscaping, and equipment in Evelyn's Playground for thousands of children to enjoy safely.

 

 

Summer in the Square showcases over 30 neighborhood partners, including fitness studios, pumping up our plazas with energy to start and end the day.

 

 

Thousands of children come to Union Square to enjoy our summer programs including Art Farm animals, yoga, music, soccer, and story-telling, plus our Children's Pavilion filled with books and activities.

 

 

USP hosts Harvest in the Square, our food and wine festival, to highlight over 60 local restaurants. The event raised over $430,000 this year to support our work in Union Square Park.
