6:00 pm: Circle of Friends and Life Trustee Reception
6:30 pm: Holiday Ball Begins, Wine Auction
The Board of Trustees of The Community House is pleased to present the 2018 Holiday Ball and Wine Auction on Saturday, December 1.
The evening begins with a Circle of Friends Reception, followed by Cocktails & Premier Wine Auction in Kettering Hall. Guests will then dine and dance in the Field House where they will be delighted by the décor around the theme of Where it all began.
The Community House has become so much a part of the community that most people can't remember a time when it wasn't here, and could never dream of the possibility it wouldn't exist. In fact, it only exists today because of the rare vision and generous support provided over the years by friends like you.
For many, success is measured in dollars and cents. Yet another important measure is the impact we have on our community. We understand the importance of The Community House remaining in a sound financial position, and your generosity helps do just that. It also helps us transform the lives of many around us.
In 2017, over 10,000 neighbors joined together for inspired learning, social impact and life-enriching experiences. Whether through recreation, arts, active adults or social impact programs, our community is stronger.
80% of kids in our early learning programs at Willowbrook Corner showed improvement in reading scores during the last school year.
390 families saw their lives transformed through counseling and Early Learning in the low-income neighborhood of Willowbrook Corner
215 inspired artists participated in programs as part of the new Ly Hotchkin Arts Program. Programs launched in January of 2017 and range from dance and ballet to comic book illustration and theater.
Your support of the Holiday Ball makes it possible.
