Event Details

The St. Patrick's Day Gala and Annual Fundraiser has provided financial support and has helped to sustain St. Mary School for more than 20 years! This lovely evening includes a catered dinner, raffle and auction items, live music, one-of-a-kind art produced by our school children and a warm, fun evening with the St. Mary community.

Where and when?

The fundraiser is Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 6pm - 12am in the Parish Center (the gym) which will be transformed into a festive Irish-themed landscape and pub.

Where does the money go?

The school budget relies on successful fundraising: 8% of the total school budget comes from fundraising and St. Pat's is the largest of the School Advisory Board's fundraising events. The proceeds benefit the education of all St. Mary's students. Funds are raised through ticket sales, a silent auction, raffles, sponsorships and donations. Any amount raised over and above the budgeted goal is used to accelerate investments in strategic initiatives (such as purchasing Chromebooks for use in classrooms and more quickly updating classroom materials.)

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket includes appetizers, a catered dinner, open bar, a live band and dancing, live and silent auction items, raffles and a great evening with other St. Mary parents, parishioners and supporters.

Can I bring my kids?

This is night out for adults 21+. Date night, Girls Night Out, Guys Night Out - your choice!

About St. Mary School

Principal Barbara Rasinski reinforces the teaching that it takes a village to raise a child. That model of strong community is central to our mission of educating children in the Catholic faith tradition! The future and continued sustainability of St. Mary rests on the faith and generosity of a community that believes in the value of a Catholic education.

St. Mary's caring teachers and staff provide excellent academic instruction and ample opportunity for self-expression and fun every day. Most importantly, through prayer, learning and service, we are nurturing strong children with values rooted in the Catholic faith. The St. Mary School mission is to educate our children in an environment of Christ-centered love while providing them with a strong spiritual and academic foundation rooted in the Catholic tradition.

Living out our mission enables our students to engage the world in a way that promotes peace and justice with respect for the human person and the common good by:

  • Building a sense of community within the entire faculty and student body which will reflect the message of Christ.
  • Instilling a strong value system grounded in an understanding of our Catholic heritage.
  • Implementing a curriculum that imparts knowledge and provides productive learning experiences for each student.
  • Providing opportunities to spread God's word through service to others.
  • Promoting an academic environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
  • Fostering a sense of personal responsibility and good citizenship in each student.
  • Celebrating and incorporating diversity within our community.
  • Nurturing a cooperative and supportive atmosphere between home and school.
