Diamonds Over Georgia Pediatric Cancer

Please join us for the 12th annual DIAMONDS OVER GEORGIA Gala, on Saturday, January 19, 2018, at the Country Club of the South in Johns Creek. The event will feature a cocktail hour, three-course dinner with choice of entrees, open bar, silent auction and raffle, plus guest speakers, entertainment and dancing. Complimentary valet parking will be available. Attire is black-tie optional.

The event is open to anyone who would like to join us in the fight against pediatric cancer.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn, Northpoint, 10975 Georgia Lane, Alpharetta, GA 30022, 678-566-3900. The deadline for reservations is January 4, 2019. Please use the event name "Diamonds".

Tickets are a donation and as such cannot be refunded.

About Us

Diamonds Over Georgia was founded by the Atlanta Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association in support of Penn State's annual Dance Marathon (THON). Since its inception in 1973, THON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, has raised an incredible $147 million for the Four Diamonds. The mission of The Four Diamonds is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children treated at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital and their families through superior care, comprehensive support, and innovative research. Four Diamonds offsets the cost of treatment that insurance does not cover, as well as expenses that may disrupt the welfare of the child, such as car repairs, rent, or household utilities. They also supports the medical team that cares for the children and subsidizes pediatric cancer research through startup grants and the Four Diamonds Pediatric Cancer Research Institute.
