Artist Statement: The journey from inspiration to art is fluid and deeply personal. I find joy in observing the world around me, seizing upon
fragments of inspiration, a reflection in water, the texture of a wall, the minutiae. These glimpses become seeds of ideas, which I develop in the
studio, layering colors, experimenting with materials, and using texture. I am drawn to patterns, and enjoy recreating them or mimicking them.
