Artist Statement: The journey from inspiration to finished work is fluid and deeply
personal. I find joy in observing the world around me, seizing upon fragments of beauty
- a fleeting expression, a dramatic body of water, or the contrast of nature against man-
made objects. These glimpses become seeds of ideas, which I nurture and develop in
the studio, layering colors, experimenting with materials, and allowing intuition to shape
the final piece. This process is not just about representation but about evoking feeling; I
want my art to be seen, felt, and, when possible, even heard - to resonate with others
as it does with me.
