A festive night for the animals of Durham

Saturday, November 7, 2026 | Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club | Doors open at 5:30 PM

Welcome to Home for the Holidays! Join the Animal Protection Society of Durham for a festive, relaxed evening celebrating the animals, people, and community that make our work possible.

This year's event puts a fresh spin on our annual fall benefit. Rather than a traditional seated dinner, you'll find food stations, cocktails, cozy spaces to mingle, holiday cheer, and plenty to do throughout the evening.

And, of course, we've kept some APS favorites.

What to Wear?

Cocktail Attire - With Your Own Personal Flair!

Dust off that favorite suit, pull out your little black cocktail dress, or go as formal and festive as you like! Whether you're classic and elegant, bold and sparkly, or simply bringing your own unique style, be you - and be ready to have some fun!

We can't wait to celebrate with you and make this night one to remember for the animals of Durham.

There's plenty to enjoy

Bid in the Silent & Live Auctions

Your evening makes a difference

Every ticket, bid, raffle ticket, and gift helps APS provide care for animals in need and support pets and their people throughout Durham.

Your participation helps make lifesaving medical care, sheltering, foster care, adoption, and community programs possible-and helps create more opportunities for pets to find and stay in loving homes.
