The evening begins with an elegant Masquerade cocktail hour, where guests can mingle, enjoy exquisite refreshments, and embrace the spirit of the evening in black-tie or formal masquerade attire, with masks encouraged. Guests will then enjoy a beautifully curated seated dinner followed by an unforgettable evening of entertainment and celebration. Live and silent auctions featuring exceptional items and experiences will provide meaningful opportunities to help make even more dreams come true.
Throughout the evening, the mystery and magic of the masquerade will come to life through captivating decor, enchanting entertainment, and memorable surprises. Behind every mask is a story, and at the heart of the evening are the courageous children and families whose lives are transformed through the power of a wish. Together, we will celebrate hope, create magical memories, and make dreams come true.
About The Rainbow Connection
The Rainbow Connection was established as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 1985. Our mission is to grant wishes to Michigan children battling life-threatening illnesses.
A wish helps to strengthen and empower children in battling their illness by enriching the human experience with hope, anticipation, and joy. A wish allows a child the ability to look past their condition and gives precious time with family to create memories they can all treasure. Since 1985, they have granted an average of 150 wishes each year and over 4,700 wishes since their inception.
Over 86% of every dollar donated goes directly to programs and services for children with life-threatening illnesses.
