We hope you will join us at The 2026 Evening EXPLO on Thursday, November 5th 2026, an unforgettable event to support Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound School. Hosted at the new William and Charlotte Bloomberg Public Science Common at the Museum of Science, the evening will feature an all-new program including interactive exhibits, inspiring stories, 360 video installations, and the opportunity to invest in the next generation of changemakers.

Tickets start at $500 and include access to dinner and a silent auction. Every dollar raised through this annual fundraising event will go directly toward supporting Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound's core mission to build stronger, more equitable public-school communities through free experiential learning programs for Boston students.

The North Star Award is our opportunity to recognize extraordinary service and philanthropic efforts on behalf of Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound School and the community we serve. Named for the star that has guided mariners across oceans for centuries, this award represents the guiding light of strength, integrity, and leadership, and its recipients embody and model these characteristics for all to benefit from.

GMO's annual support of our Outward BOUND 4K Trail Run has made a significant impact in our organization year after year. GMO is the only team that has run all 25 years of the race and each year has raised significant funds from GMO employees. Since 1992, GMO's support has been critical in ensuring we have the necessary funds for our programs for our Boston Public Schools students.

We offer 2026 North Star Award to GMO with deep gratitude for their dedication to Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound School and our community, while looking forward to many more years of partnership!
