Additionally, we welcome gifts of publicly traded stock, providing donors with an opportunity to contribute appreciated assets. Please join us for The 3rd Annual Patriot Invitational to be held at the prestigious Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida!  

Pelican Golf Club is one of Florida's newest and most exclusive private golf clubs. The host of the LPGA Tour's annual Pelican Women's Championship, it features a golf course originally laid out in 1925 by Donald Ross (formerly known as Belleview Biltmore Golf Club) and reimagined by Beau Welling in 2018. Owned by the local Doyle family, the course is an homage to Augusta National, with bright-white bunkers, lush green turf and fluffy pine straw framing the holes, with large and undulating greens providing a fun challenge for professional golfers and club members alike.

Back by popular demand, this year's event will span two days, with the Gala Dinner scheduled for Sunday, April 25th, and The Patriot Invitational Golf Tournament taking place on Monday, April 26th. We hope this revised schedule will better accommodate attendees with professional commitments and provide an enjoyable experience for spouses and non-golfers alike.

Our VIP Keynote Speaker - Dr. John Arroyo, MD

We are honored to announce that our 2027 Keynote Speaker will be Captain John Arroyo, Jr., (Ret.), US Army Green Beret. Captain Arroyo is a survivor of the April 2014 mass shooting at Fort Hood military base. His inspiring message of courage, resilience, hope, and faith promises to resonate deeply with all attendees.

Keynote Presenter

Dr. John M. Arroyo, Jr.

Dr. John M. Arroyo Jr. is a retired U.S. Army veteran from California. He is married to Angel Arroyo, and they have three children. John enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1998 and spent most of his 20-year career as a Green Beret, assigned to the 3rd Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. In 2013, he was commissioned as a U.S. Army Medical Service Corps Officer. John has been deployed twice to Afghanistan and once to Iraq.

He is a survivor of the April 02, 2014, mass shooting at Fort Hood, Texas. He was treated for a gunshot wound to the neck and paralysis of the right arm at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Doctors told John's family that they did not have a medical explanation for how he survived his injuries. It was simply a miracle!  Given a second chance, John wasted no time sharing his gift and miraculous story with anyone willing to listen.

John is a highly sought-after motivational speaker known for his energetic style. He is a gifted communicator who speaks in various settings, including churches, schools, military bases, businesses, and nonprofit events. John's primary message centers around getting up. He illustrates this through his life experiences. He speaks about relevant issues to his audience and provides concrete solutions to real-life challenges.

John's life experiences, including addiction, failures, and disappointments, have given him a unique perspective on faith, hope, resiliency, courage, and survival. His dynamic energy, honest transparency, and vivid storytelling profoundly impact those who hear him speak, often leading to transformation and growth. His unwavering hope is grounded in his strong faith, strengthened by his deep connections with his wife, children, and extended family.
