About the donor: Dawn Standridge is a full-blood member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and resides in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. As a historical interpreter at the Wheelock Academy Historic Site in Millerton, Oklahoma, she is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich legacy of the Choctaw Tribe. Part of her work involves learning and teaching traditional arts, such as beadwork. Dawn continually challenges herself to discover new techniques and designs, aiming to expand her knowledge to help others create their own beautiful art pieces. For her, beadwork is more than just a job; it connects her to her grandmother, who was an accomplished beader. Dawn hopes to recreate several of her grandmother's designs in the future for her family.

Shipping: A small item fee of $15 would apply if shipping is needed for this item.
