Behind Every Mask is the perfect "spooky season" date night, employee appreciation gift, or just a good reason to enjoy friends company and raise funds for local families and children!

Behind Every Mask is more than the name of our masquerade ball, it is a reminder of why CAPS exists.

Behind every mask is a child. Behind every child is a story.

Every year, CAPS serves thousands of children and families, each with their own experiences, challenges, strengths, and needs. Some of the children behind those stories have already walked through our doors. Others may need our services in the future. Even looking back to the past, every masked adult attending this event was once a child as well, one who may have needed, or could have benefited from, the support of an organization like CAPS.

Behind every mask is someone entirely unique. No two people have the same story, just as no two children experience life, trauma, or challenges in exactly the same way.

That is why CAPS believes in individualized care. We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to children and families. We believe every child deserves to be seen, heard, supported, and connected with the specific services they need to heal, grow, and thrive.

As we gather "Behind Every Mask," we invite you to look beyond what is on the outside and remember the child behind it... the child who deserves to be seen for exactly who they are.

Because behind every mask is a child. Behind every child is a story. And every child matters.

Event information:

Held at the classy and fun Salina Country Club, Behind Every Mask will be a fun night of mystery solving, friendly competitions, and fundraising. Guests are invited to, but not required to, dress in Masquerade apparel, and enjoy a themed experience like none other in Salina! Feel free to dress as you are comfortable! Anything from cocktail dress all the way to formal wear is welcome... and don't forget a fun masquerade mask!

This year we will feature a self solvable puzzle that you can crack with a team at your table, or solo! You can also enjoy access to our free themed Photo Booth, as well as a wine/ liquor pull, and a short list of auction items! There will also be a cash bar on site! 

All funds raised from this event will support CAPS programs so we can continue our mission to improve children's lives and strengthen families in our community.

Oct. 9th Schedule: 6:00 Pm- 9:30 Pm

Cocktail hour: 6-7 Pm. Check in, find your seats, mingle, and partake in our cash bar, Photo Booth, and Wine/ Liquor pull! 

Dinner: 7-8:30 Pm. Dinner will be served, Auction Items will be sold, and short impact speakers will be heard! 

Wrap up: 8:30-Close. We will tally funds raised, announce winners of the Puzzle, offer a few more auction items (If needed), and wrap up the night with information about CAPS!
