ABOUT CHIME INSTITUTE
Established in 1990, as a nonprofit organization, CHIME Institute is a national leader in the development and delivery of quality inclusive education, allowing children who develop typically, children with disabilities and children who are gifted, to learn side by side.
Our early education program and TK-8 independent charter school serves over 800 children from birth to eight grade and their families. In a partnership with the College of Education at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) our professional development program demonstrates our unique educational model, inspiring educators from around the world.
Our work is grounded in over 35 years of practice and research and the belief that when we set an expectation for all children to reach their full potential, we are honoring our promise to families and to society. The science of inclusive education not only creates better opportunities for children to grow in all developmental areas, but also fosters a culture of greater compassion and empathy.
