Farm to Family Special Fund

Fresh Produce for Orange County Families 

Farm to Family connects food banks with growers, packers, and distributors who help provide fresh fruits and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste. This includes produce such as apples, pears, potatoes, celery, bell peppers, and other seasonal fruits and vegetables. This year, in order for Second Harvest to hit their overall goal of distributing 45 million pounds, they need to source nearly 12 million pounds of produce through this program - a 47% increase from last year. Farm to Family produce is only 21 cents per pound, so every gift can provide a significant amount of fresh fruits and vegetables. Together, we can help provide a foundation for community health-one pound of fresh produce at a time.

This year, our special campaign will also coincide with our opportunity raffle drawing. Every donation $50 and above will provide opportunity raffle tickets for a chance to win speciality curated items.
