Join the Sacramento Domestic Violence Prevention Collaboration (DVPC) for a full day of training, education, and collaboration focused on strengthening our collective response to domestic violence, human trafficking, firearms-related risks, and strangulation.
This training brings together professionals from across disciplines to learn from experts, share knowledge, and build stronger systems of support and protection for survivors.

Featuring Julia Weber, JD, MSW, firearms point person for the Judicial Council and former Implementation Director at Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence. This session will examine firearms relinquishment and restraining orders and the critical role they play in survivor safety.

Strangulation Prevention & Education: Breath Play is Death Play
Led by Joyce Bilyeu, CEO of the Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center and DVPC Co-Chair, this session will address strangulation prevention, safety planning, and the risks associated with strangulation during sex.

DVPC Awards Ceremony
Celebrate the individuals and organizations making a difference in our community.

The DVPC Awards Ceremony will take place during lunch, and a meal will be provided for all attendees.
