A Legacy of Light: 120 Years of Belonging
For more than a century, the Levite Jewish Community Center has served as a gathering place for the Birmingham community. This year, as we mark our historic 120th anniversary, we invite you to join this enduring legacy of local support at the 5th Annual J'la Gala: Lighting the Way.
An Evening of Purpose and Celebration
The J'la Gala serves as the vital engine powering our scholarship program, seamlessly turning community partnership into life-changing opportunities. Attendees will enjoy an evening featuring:
- A premiere dining experience with a kosher plated dinner by Chef Maureen Holt
- An open bar, including beer, wine, and mixed drinks.
- Exciting live and silent auctions
- The chance to meaningfully invest in the LJCC scholarship fund, increasing access to summer camp, preschool, wellness offerings, and more
- Free babysitting for attendees (preregistration required)
