Families for Inclusion is a Southwest Louisiana nonprofit dedicated to building a community where individuals of all abilities are welcomed, valued, and included. Guided by our pillars of Inclusive Play, Inclusive Education, and Inclusive Communities, we work to remove barriers and create opportunities for meaningful participation in all aspects of life. Through advocacy, education, adaptive events, community partnerships, and grant programs, we empower families, promote accessibility, and foster a culture of belonging for
people with disabilities and their loved ones.
Join us for the 46th Annual SHINE Golf Tournament on September 12-13, 2026,
at Mallard Golf Club in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Hosted by Families for Inclusion, the SHINE Golf Tournament serves as one of our largest annual fundraisers. Proceeds directly support our mission of fostering Inclusive Play, Inclusive Education, and Inclusive Communities throughout Southwest Louisiana. Funds raised help provide family assistance grants, adaptive and inclusive programming, educational initiatives, community events, and resources that empower individuals of all abilities to thrive.

Registration opens July 1, 2026, and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The tournament is limited to the first 120 teams, and last year's event sold out.
Whether you're a returning participant or joining us for the first time, your support helps create a more inclusive Southwest Louisiana where every individual belongs.
