The Emerald 2026 Honorees
The Richard and Maggie* Daley Family
Old St. Patrick's proudly honors the Richard and Maggie Daley Family for their enduring commitment to faith, family, and service.
Their visionary leadership helped make possible the restoration of Old St. Patrick's Church and united civic and faith leaders around a shared vision for our community. They also established Siamsa na nGael, bringing the rich traditions of Irish music and culture to Chicago during St. Patrick's week.
Maggie founded Frances Xavier Warde School, the first new Catholic school established in Chicago in decades, creating new opportunities for families and making Catholic education more accessible.
Today, their legacy of service lives on through the next generation of the Daley family, whose leadership, generosity, and dedication continue to strengthen both our city and the Old St. Patrick's community.

Join us for The Emerald 2026, Old St. Patrick's Church's signature annual gala, this year celebrating 180 years of faith, community, and impact. For nearly four decades, The Emerald has been an unforgettable evening of dinner, dancing, fellowship, and celebration in support of the vital ministries and outreach efforts of Old St. Patrick's Church.
This special evening welcomes members, friends, and supporters who share a commitment to strengthening the mission of Old St. Pat's and building a more welcoming, connected, and faith-filled community. Guests will enjoy an elegant evening of dinner, dancing, and inspiring stories, while honoring the Richard and Maggie Daley Family. The Emerald supports the ministries that serve thousands each year through faith formation, pastoral care, outreach initiatives, scholarships, and programs that bring hope, healing, and belonging.

Your table sponsorship (including 10 seats) at The Emerald 2026 does more than secure your seat. It directly sustains Old St. Pat's mission. While the fair market value reflects what you'll receive, the funds raised go further, supporting our outreach, worship, and service initiatives.

Event Sponsorship Opportunities
In addition to table sponsorships, Event Sponsorship for specific elements of The Emerald 2026 helps to offset the cost of hosting the event, allowing more of the funds raised to directly support our mission and ministries. These event sponsorships are a powerful way to ensure that every dollar raised can go further in sustaining our outreach, worship, education, and service initiatives.
All event sponsors receive event signage, inclusion in event program, and event night recognition. Those sponsorships of $5,000 and above include two complimentary tickets with reserved seating in appreciation of your support.
To ensure full recognition, including inclusion in the program, website, and during the event, we kindly request that all event and table sponsorships commitments be received by Thursday, September 17, 2026.
