Inspired by the legendary Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, flown by General Claire Lee Chennault's Flying Tigers during World War II, The Pursuit represents courage, resilience, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to the mission. Although the P-40 was not considered the most powerful aircraft of its time, it became one of history's greatest success stories because of exceptional leadership, relentless preparation, and a team united by purpose.
Those same values define ULM Athletics today.
The Pursuit dinner is an opportunity for our community to celebrate that purpose as we kick off an exciting fall sports season on The Bayou. Emceed by Sean Fox, we will hear from Coach Bryant Vincent, several student athletes, other fall sport coaches, Athletic Director SJ Tuohy, and the keynote speaker of the event: ULM Hall of Fame and Super Bowl winning Head Coach, Doug Pederson.
The Pursuit will be a celebratory night for a great cause, with proceeds from the event funding critical support areas such as nutrition, scholarships, and equipment. There is no better way to start your fall!
