Join us for Hunkapi's Open Your Heart Gala on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 5:30-10:00 PM at Hunkapi Farms in Scottsdale, Arizona-where healing begins with horses, and hearts are changed forever.
This year, we celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse-a theme inspired by strength, passion, transformation, and the powerful connection between horses and the human spirit. We're thrilled to welcome Carey Pena, Emmy Award-winning journalist and Founder & CEO of Inspired Media 360, as our evening's emcee, alongside local auctioneer Frankie Fletcher, who will bring energy and excitement to our live auction and fundraising moments.
Hunkapi Programs, Inc. is an Arizona nonprofit offering mindfulness-based therapeutic horse programs to diverse populations throughout Maricopa County. Every session shares one interwoven focus: "to teach the world to fear less and love more." Whether working with a child with autism, a first responder or domestic violence survivor experiencing post-traumatic stress, someone navigating a cancer diagnosis, or a corporate leadership team, our herd and licensed mental health professionals use mindfulness and somatic practices to help individuals move from fear and closed-heartedness toward healing, connection, and open-hearted living.
