WHAT IS CHUNKIN' PUMPKINS?

Chunkin' Pumpkins is Captain's Quarters' annual family-friendly fundraiser benefiting metastatic breast cancer (MBC) research. Celebrating its 12th year, Spectators can sponsor a pumpkin for a chance to hit a floating target and win prizes from local restaurant partners, while enjoying live music, spirit sampling, shopping, face painting, family activities, and more.

Since its inception, Chunkin' Pumpkins has raised more than $200,000 to advance metastatic breast cancer research. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit Hope Scarves and Twisted Pink, two Louisville-based nonprofits investing in groundbreaking research and providing support to those living with metastatic breast cancer. Our goal for 2026 is to raise $90,000 to help accelerate life-saving research and bring hope to those facing metastatic breast cancer.
