Grand Opening Celebration of the Renovated 1899 Building

Traditionally held in June, the Akron Art Museum Wine Auction returns in September 2026 for a singular occasion celebrating the completed renovation and grand reopening of the Museum's historic 1899 building.
 
This special edition of the Wine Auction marks the unveiling of more art, expanded exhibition space, and new experiences for our community. The transformed building will introduce the Idea Machine-a flexible, community-centered space designed for artmaking, collaboration, and creative experimentation-along with new galleries that significantly enhance the Museum's capacity for exhibitions.

To the best knowledge of the Museum and committee, all donated wines have been properly stored and are in good condition, though a margin of error always exists.

For those unable to attend in person, online bidding for silent auction items is encouraged.
