Preorder Books

Barnes & Noble will donate 30% of book sales. If you preorder your books when you purchase your ticket, you'll be able to quickly pick them up when you arrive. Books will also be available for purchase and signing throughout the event.

Transforming Lives and Strengthening Communities

Operation School Bell improves attendance, self-esteem & literacy for PreK-12 students. Winter Coats provides outerwear for elementary students. Middle School Shopping Days allow students to select new school clothing. High School Holiday Shopping allows homeless students to purchase wardrobe necessities for themselves and gifts for loved ones. Early Reading presents books and training materials to our youngest readers. Social Worker's Closet provides school social workers with emergency clothing & personal items.

New Start provide essential kitchen equipment to those leaving homelessness for independent living, encouraging home-cooked meals and extending the reach of limited financial resources.

Scholars Support grants $2500 scholarships to College of DuPage students actively seeking a degree and adults seeking a new career path, easing costs to encourage graduation while increasing the availability of a local skilled workforce. 

Assisteens are high school students who have a passion for community service. Teens support Assistance League's programs and develop projects of their own.
