Welcome to the second round of the Katie Colin Farm Frozen Genetic Sale! We're presenting top genetics straight from our breeding program. These superior genetics are designed to produce cattle with striking looks and exceptional genotypes that deliver real results. Leading this offering is an exclusive selection of matings from our $235,000 donor, KC Blackbird 017-a donor renowned for excelling across every mating. Her first two natural calves were both purchased by bull studs, and her latest, KC Kingston, is gaining recognition nationwide as a standout breeding bull. Last year, her daughter, KC Blackbird 4036, enjoyed a successful campaign on the P&G show circuit. Offspring from these embryos will have the potential to make a meaningful contribution not only to your operation but also within the breed itself.
Demand for elite genetics has never been higher, and we've curated a group of donors from leading cow families. The lineup features BA7 Oaks Erica J04, a full sibling to BA7 Oaks Bold Ruler and descendant of the famous Erica of Ellston T220. We're also offering a mating from Vintage Blackcap 1131, a direct daughter of V A R Blackcap 9319 and flush mate to the dam of the $290,000 V A R Landman 4194.
This sale may be your final opportunity to purchase embryos from one of my personal favorites, Hart Whitney 1095 possibly
her finest mating yet with Wilks Crick 3708. Additionally, we're making available embryos that will be maternal siblings to KC Blackcap Lady 5033, the first ever 2026 Champion P & G Female at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, out of BRYD Blackcap Lady 0172-3009.
Featured embryos include those sired by our leading herd sires, EXAR Bona Fide and KC Madden. Bona Fide's offspring are demonstrating impressive performance and outstanding looks-so much so that visiting cowboys at Origen this fall regarded him as one of the most remarkable bulls there. KC Madden's calves have already surpassed our expectations. Among the matings, you'll also find embryos from the sought-after G A R Wallace, popular G A R Grand Slam, and other premier Angus Breed bulls.
Many other outstanding matings are included in this sale. If you have questions, please contact us. Remember, this event is hosted on Smart Auction in a Racehorse Style format, closing at 6pm Central Time on March 18, 2026.
