Rules for the Gr8 Sk8:
Rule #1: This tournament is about having fun and enjoying the camaraderie of hockey while raising money for charity. Don't take it too seriously. Play accordingly.
Gameplay: If you are familiar with Hockey Finder rules, we are following those rules for the Adult Divisions. For those not familiar, here are some key things to keep in mind:
- 60 minutes of ice time: 3 minute warmup. Three 17 minute runtime periods per game. 1 minute break between periods.
- Last two minutes of the third period will be stop clock if the goal differential is two or less.
- No changing sides at the end of the period
- Blue line icing
- If a round robin game ends in a tie, it will end in a tie.
- Sunday games ending in a tie will be decided by a 3 player shootout
General Rules:
- No checking
- No fighting
- No slapshots
- No abusive or threatening behavior
- Zero tolerance for abusive behavior towards referees
Fundraiser Rules:
- Each team can buy one penalty shot and one power play per game. Costs are $20 each and must be purchased before the game begins. Cards are only valid for the specific game they were purchased for.
- Penalty shots can be used at any stoppage and taken by any player on the ice. We encourage goalie on goalie penalty shots!
- Power plays can be used at any stoppage - The team using the power play card can select the player from the opposing team who must sit the pentalty out.

Get ready for a weekend of fast ice, big plays, and even bigger fun! Our tournament features Squirt 3-on-3 matchups and coed adult divisions at multiple levels, so whether you're just in it for fun or bringing the heat, there's a spot for you.
