The EmpowerHer Med Gala honors our #IStandWithHer Award Winners and fuels WIM's work developing women in medicine at every stage, from first-year med student to hospital CEO. It's one night, but the impact runs for years!

Guests enjoy a seated dinner, an inspiring program, and meaningful opportunities to invest in the future of women in medicine. Whether you're a longtime champion of WIM or joining us for the first time, the EmpowerHer Med Gala is a powerful way to celebrate progress and fund what comes next.

As a nonprofit, we rely on contributions to keep our programs accessible and affordable for women from every part of the country, urban to rural, so that geography and resources never determine who gets to lead. Your gift helps position the current and next generation of healthcare leadership, and strengthens patient care for all of us in the process.

Women in Medicine (WIM) is a national community of thousands of physicians, nurses, APPs, executives, educators, researchers, and industry partners, united by a shared commitment to advancing women across every stage of a career in medicine.

Our work starts with the individual. We connect women through mentorship, trusted leadership programs, research, and a professional network built to help them rise, lead, and stay in the workforce, especially those navigating the demands of caregiving, clinical work, and community leadership.

WIM was founded in 2019 as the Women in Medicine Summit on the belief that a stronger healthcare workforce begins with women who are recruited well, supported fully, and recognized for the leaders they already are.

That belief drives everything we do.
