One if by Land, Two if by Sea
Saturday, the Twenty-Seventh of June
In the year Two Thousand Twenty-Six
A Most Splendid & Revolutionary Gala
Powder thy wigs, polish thy dancing slippers, and mark well thy calendar for the Cannon Ball!
When in the course of human festivities it becomes necessary to cast aside the ordinary and
convene for revelry most resplendent, let it be known throughout the colony: A grand affair approaches!
By the glow of lantern light and the daring of midnight riders, we shall assemble in fine fashion
to toast to liberty, bold adventure, and independence with uncommon cheer. Expect spirited libations,
jubilant company, and merriment enough to make even the Sons of Liberty tap their buckled shoes.
FAQ
How shall I arrive?
Valet service shall be provided for all conveyances, though we confess our stables are of modest proportion. We warmly encourage our fellow patriots to share their carriages where able. Car pooling is a kindness to all.
What manner of footwear is advised?
We implore our guests to take heed: the grounds along the cove are marshy and of uncertain footing, as befits a working harbour. Stilettos and heeled slippers of great height are ill-suited to the terrain and may cause considerable distress to both wearer and ground alike. Sturdy, sensible footwear is the order of the evening.
I have a dietary restriction. What must I do?
Our kitchens are most eager to accommodate the particular constitutions of our guests. We ask that you communicate any food sensitivities, intolerances, or allergies to us in advance of the evening's festivities, so that our cooks may prepare accordingly and no patriot is left to suffer at the table.
