The annual Y Heroes event celebrates and honors individuals and organizations that have made an outstanding commitment to the Greater Providence YMCA, while raising critical funds to support our mission.
Your ticket purchase or sponsorship will directly support programs like LiveStrong - so cancer survivors can improve their fitness and quality of life; before and after-school care - so children can have a safe and enriching environment; adaptive programming for seniors - so they can stay active and connected; swim lessons - preventing drownings and ensuring water safety for all ages; and scholarships and financial aid - so our most vulnerable children and families can have access to the Y. As you can imagine, with the rising cost of living expenses we are seeing an increased need for financial aid and scholarship requests for childcare, after-school programs, memberships, and camp scholarships.
