A Taste on the River

Has Been Canceled Due to Inclement and Severe Weather

While we are disappointed to cancel this beloved event, the safety of our guests, volunteers, chefs, sponsors, vendors, and community partners remains our highest priority.

This decision also comes as Red Cross volunteers continue responding to the devastating impact of last week's severe storms across the region. Over the past several days, volunteers have been providing shelter, meals, emergency supplies, health and mental health support, and comfort to families whose lives have been turned upside down. With another round of severe weather impacting our communities today, our teams remain fully engaged and prepared to respond wherever help is needed.

Funds raised through A Taste on the River help the American Red Cross provide disaster relief, install free smoke alarms to help make homes safer, collect nearly 40% of the nation's blood supply, and support veterans, service members, and their families throughout the Quad Cities and Northwest Illinois.
