21st Annual Hansen Cup

EVENT POSTPONED
RESCHEDULED FOR MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

Due to the heavy rain and extremely wet course conditions, Allegheny Country Club has made the difficult decision to postpone this Monday's Hansen Cup Golf Outing to Monday, September 28.

We have been in close communication with the Club throughout the day, and the course is simply not accessible for play. With continued rain in the forecast throughout the weekend, we have determined that postponing the outing is the best decision for everyone involved.

The schedule will remain the same on Monday, September 28. We will be in touch soon to confirm participation and provide any additional details as the new date approaches.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and greatly appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support of this meaningful event and the W. Gregg Hansen Memorial Scholarship Fund. Please relay this message to your participating guests.

About the Outing

Celebrating its 21st year, this annual outing supports the W. Gregg Hansen Memorial Scholarship Fund at Sewickley Academy. Established by Gregg's family, close friends, and classmates, the fund serves as a lasting tribute to his legacy. To date, it has raised over $900,000 and has provided financial assistance to 25 students.

Join us for a day of fun and philanthropy! Enjoy breakfast, on-course games and prizes, a complimentary beverage cart, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and friendly competition as teams compete for the coveted Hansen Cup!

The Allegheny Country Club golf course was originally designed by Donald Ross beginning around 1913, with significant revisions and restoration work by him in 1945. The course was masterfully renovated by architect Gil Hanse, who has worked extensively to bring the layout back to its original Ross design over the last 12 months. Be one of the first to play on the newly restored championship course!
