Night at the Races

You're invited to A Night at the Races benefiting Blessings in a Backpack - Royal Oak

 Thursday, April 30 from 5:00-9:00 PM at Red Run Golf Club

Step into the winner's circle for an exciting evening of high stakes and big-hearted giving, all in support of providing weekend meals for local children facing food insecurity.

Guests will enjoy a lively evening featuring horse racing, friendly betting, and opportunities to support the mission through auctions and raffles. Tickets are $75 per person or $550 for a table of eight, and include a buffet dinner featuring Chicken Piccata, Vegetarian Pasta, Broccoli, Roasted Red Skin Potatoes, House Salad, Fresh Rolls with Butter, and Cookies and Brownies, along with complimentary valet parking. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening.

The evening begins with gates opening at 5:00 PM, followed by the buffet dinner at 5:30 PM, and the first horse races starting at 5:45 PM. Guests can get in on the action by naming a horse for $25-with only 100 horses available and all purchased prior to the event-and placing $2 bets on races throughout the night. A 50/50 raffle will also add to the excitement, so be sure to bring cash for the bar and betting. Guests can also participate in the Silent Auction, where bidding will be available by credit card.
