What is the Throwdown?
The Throwdown is our annual charity cornhole tournament bringing together Denver-area professionals for an afternoon of friendly competition, time outside, and support for a local educational nonprofit. It's a relaxed, social event with sponsors, donors, and program partners. No cornhole experience required! Come toss some bags, enjoy the community, and connect with others who care about making a difference in Colorado.
Details:
Check-in will begin at 9:00am at our new location in the plaza between Left Hand Brewing (RiNo) and Mission Ballroom. Kick off the morning with time to connect and network with fellow Cottonwood supporters before the tournament begins promptly at 10:00am and wraps up around 2:00pm.
The tournament will start with a four-team round-robin, with two players per team. Each team in the round robin will play one another, track their wins and scores, and the top two teams from each group will advance to the winners' bracket.
Companies may choose to sponsor an entire round-robin bracket and invite key prospects, customers, clients, vendors, or employees, or opt to compete against teams from other industries. This format allows you to play with people you want to connect with during the first few hours, keeping the tournament fun, social, and casual.
