The mission of Breakthrough is to increase the educational and social opportunities of motivated, financially under-resourced, middle and high school students through a quality year-round program, and to motivate and train talented college students for careers in education.
At Breakthrough, we have always recognized the pivotal role that the middle school years play in shaping students' futures as well as the impact of a quality teacher. After 30 years of doing this work, we are excited to follow our middle school students for 10 years of programming and support, enabling them to enter fulfilling careers.
Come learn about where we have been, where we are going, and how to be part of that journey.
