Gala & Auction FAQ

There are 2 components to the auction this year.  There is a live auction and silent auction. 

The live auction will take place at the gala on March 7, 2026. 

What is the attire for the gala?

The attire for the gala is semi-formal/business.  For men, options may include a sport coat or suit.  For women, consider an elevated cocktail dress. Please note the reception will take place outside, however dinner and the auction will be indoors. 

What is the dinner menu?

• Chicken Saltimbocca - Airline chicken breast stuffed with fresh sage prosciutto and ricotta cheese topped with whole grain mustard cream, creamy whipped potatoes, crisp asparagus
• Grilled Beef Tenderloin - Truffle chive whipped potatoes, portobello mushrooms, garlic-tomato confit, roasted asparagus, bordelaise
• Vegan Option - Baked black rice, sauteed chickpeas, roasted zucchini, fire roasted bell peppers, spinach, pepitas, agave lemon emulsion

Can I choose where I sit?

Unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee seating arrangements for those who purchase individual tickets.  We can only guarantee seating arrangements if you purchase a table.  

When does the silent auction close? 

The silent auction will take place between Saturday, February 28 at 12:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 7 at 6:00 p.m.

When can I pick up my items? 

You may pick up your winnings at the close of the gala during the check-out process.  If you are not planning to attend the gala, you may pick up your items in the front office on or after Tuesday, March 10. Should shipping be required, winner is responsible for all costs associated.  

Is a credit card required to participate in the silent auction? 

Yes, a pre-registered credit card is required to begin bidding.  Credit cards will be processed on the evening of Saturday, March 1st. If you would like to complete your payment for your items via another method (ie: check) please contact [email protected].

How can I keep active and know if I am outbid or have won an item? 

You will be notified via text if you have been outbid.  Keep an eye on your favorite items! If you are NOT receiving the text messages, make sure you have the correct mobile number entered in your profile. The texts will continue to notify you when you have been outbid or reached your max auto bid. When the silent auction closes, you will also receive a text message if you won any items.

What happens if I do not pay for my winning items? 

All balances must be paid in full before winning item(s) can be collected. Items left unpaid after seven days will be sold to the next highest bidder. 

What happens if I do not pick up my winnings?

Any item(s) left unclaimed after 30 days, without prior arrangements, will be sold and proceeds will go to PVCP.
