It's no secret that our youth are the beacons of light in our future. They are our future leaders; striving to make positive change in their communities and overcoming whatever challenges the world may throw their way to make a strong impact.
For over 115 years, Scouting has helped America's youth find their light by developing them into impactful leaders. By empowering them to make good ethical and moral choices, our youth are able to shape their own futures and strengthen our communities, all grounded in the Scout Oath and Law. The Mayflower Council looks to continue that mission through fun, interactive programming and service projects that allow our youth to flourish as leaders across our 62 communities.

What is the Annual Campaign?
The Annual Giving Campaign is run by your local council. During this campaign, you're invited to support Scouting with a tax-deductible gift to the Mayflower Council. Throughout the year, families, friends, and other supporters are encouraged to contribute to our Annual Campaign and aid in our other fundraising efforts. Your donation can be any amount that feels right for you.
Why you support the Mayflower Council's Annual Campaign!
Did you know Mayflower Council covers close to 80% of Scouting participation costs? While families pay for uniforms, books, and registration, there are many additional expenses. The council funds membership fees, insurance, recruitment and retention, camp maintenance and improvements, volunteer services, and much more-thanks to your support. The Mayflower Council strives to provide young people with a strong foundation for success, which is increasingly important today. Our programs help boys and girls build self-reliance, community spirit, and a commitment to lifelong service-all while having fun. Each stage of youth development shapes our program design. Scouting America has been serving youth since 1910, with a mission to build moral character, encourage citizenship, and help children grow up healthy in every way.
