Tee off for a cause on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Driving Out Hunger, One Green at a Time! Please join us at Manchester Country Club for this exciting inaugural event that brings our community together to support Chrysalis Center's Food Hub - helping to drive out hunger and ensure access to healthy, nourishing food for individuals and families in our community. Be part of the impact and help change lives, one green at a time.

About: Chrysalis Center's Food Hub is a comprehensive, community-centered approach to addressing food insecurity and poverty by increasing access to fresh, nutritious food while building long-term self-sufficiency. Through innovative, hands-on programs - including Freshplace, an award-winning client-choice food pantry paired with case management; Urban Roots Hydroponics, which grows year-round produce; the Homestead Farmers' Market, featuring culturally relevant, locally grown foods in an open market; Railway Gardens, featuring 32-raised bed gardens; the Food Forest at Cosgrove Commons, Connecticut's first food forest and La Cocina Culinary Arts Training and Catering program. Chrysalis Center not only meets the immediate need for food, but also tackles the root causes of hunger by creating pathways to health, education, and employment for individuals and families living in Hartford's food deserts.
