Each year, Mardi Gras marks a special moment in the life of our Our Lady of Mt. Carmel community, a time when our parish comes together to celebrate fellowship, tradition, and joy. This beloved celebration is more than a single evening; it is a long-standing Catholic tradition that unites us in faith and fun as we prepare our hearts for the season of Lent.
At OLMC, Mardi Gras reflects who we are as a community. It is families gathering around tables, children laughing with friends, volunteers working side by side, and generations sharing a tradition passed down year after year. It is a reminder that our school and parish thrive because of the people who show up, participate, and support one another.
We invite you to join us in celebrating Mardi Gras 2026 on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
Thank you for being part of this special tradition and for your continued support of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. We look forward to celebrating together and making new memories as a parish family.
With gratitude,
The OLMC Mardi Gras Committee
