Greetings,

It has been a year of excitement around the farm, from becoming engaged to the love of my life at the National Western to taking her hand in marriage on October 4th, planning our wedding (which I will get told I played a backseat role in and she wouldn't be wrong), putting together our first sale offering, and expanding our forage operation. Needless to say, there have been many late nights and days without enough hours in them, but my wife, family and crew have made it all possible and that is something for which I will be forever grateful. It is with great pleasure that we introduce to you the heifers that make up our first annual High Standards Event! These individuals are the result of what has truly been a decade in the making. I purchased my first pair of females while in college and while both had an impact, 308 has fundamentally helped shape our program from the ground up. The progeny of our matriarch and her daughter 2217 will headline the offering and we believe the set of heifers are true to what these powerful donors are consistently delivering. In addition, we were fortunate enough to be able to work with the Rausch family in flushing 1088 to make full sisters to Harms Brothers and our high selling selection 1522 who we unfortunately lost in a freak accident. KD Cattle retains the right to 2 successful flushes (minimum 6 embryo per flush) at the seller's expense and the buyer's convenience on all females selling unless otherwise stated in the footnotes.

KD Cattle guarantees all females selling to breed or produce transferable embryos via IVF. If a problem arises getting a heifer bred, we will assist in the efforts which requires the female to be return to KD Cattle at the buyer's expense. If a female is deemed to be an unsatisfactory breeder after being returned, credit will be issued or if available a replacement animal of equal value can be chosen. If a heifer is deemed to be obese, this guarantee is no longer in effect. Disposition, soundness, quality, etc. are all the responsibility of the buyer once the animal leaves KD Cattle.

This Auction has a horse race style finish. Every time someone bids during the last 5 minutes of the auction the clock will extend 5 more minutes until no one bids for an entire 5 minutes. Please note that this countdown duration may be changed without notice during the auction.

SmartAuctions will invoice all buyers and release the lot after payment is received. PAYMENT IS DUE UPON RECEIPT. A credit/debit card will be required ONLY to verify identity of bidders, but you will not be charged for your purchases on your card UNLESS you choose that option or you have not paid for your purchases prior to 12 days after the auction closes. Your credit card will be charged if payment has not been received within 12 days after purchase or arrangements have not been communicated. If your credit card payment is declined at the 12 days your purchase will accrue an interest of 6%. If you pay with a card you will be charged a 5% transaction fee.
