About The Scott Center for Social Entrepreneurship

Founded in 2017, the Scott Center for Social Entrepreneurship was born out of Hillbrook School's vision of helping children reach beyond to make a difference in the world. Our JK-12 grade social entrepreneurship education model is among very few of its kind worldwide.

The Scott Center empowers learners to engage deeply in complex challenges locally and globally, igniting the changemaker in all students. Scott Center programs nurture the skills and mindsets for students to turn their ideas into impact and imagine their role in creating a more just and equitable world.

In partnership with educators, social impact leaders, and entrepreneurs, the Scott Center cultivates a collaborative learning community that applies the best practices of social entrepreneurship through the six lenses of social entrepreneurship education: design, story, civics, systems, finance, and agency.

Through the Scott Center, students gain the skills, confidence, and competencies to answer and act upon our guiding questions: What matters to you and what are you doing about it?

Support the Scott Center's vision

The Scott Center believes that social entrepreneurship education provides the critical competencies that every student needs to thrive in a world we cannot yet imagine. Join us in expanding the reach of the center to students across the South Bay and in deepening the opportunities for current scholars and Youth Fellows.

Please help us reach our goal of $70,000
