Family Promise (formerly IHN) was founded in 1986 by Karen Olson to help local families experiencing homelessness find employment, reconnect with society, and restore their dignity. Established in 2016, Family Promise of Butler County is now creeping-delightfully-into its 10th year! For nine spirited years, we've been working hard to turn that vision into a reality.
We can't wait to conjure up an evening where we share all the frightfully exciting things we have brewing for the future!
Get ready for a wickedly wonderful night of
community, connection, and celebration!
On Thursday, October 23, from 6:30-9:30 PM, join us for a spellbinding soiree of music, merriment, and meaningful fundraising to support children and families in Butler County who are experiencing homelessness, because every child deserves a safe place to call home.
This year's bewitching bash will feature:
- Best Costume* and Best "Trunk or Treat" Table** contests
- Fang-tastic food stations (provided by Two Women in a Kitchen) and a cash bar (every ticket purchased includes two free drink vouchers)
- An enchanting raffle with fabulous prizes
- Special recognitions for those making a hauntingly huge difference
- A DJ keeping the energy eerily electric all night long
- Plenty of dancing, laughter, and magical memories
*Costumes are optional but encouraged! Come in your most festive or frightfully fun attire-whether you lean into spooky sophistication, playful pumpkin flair, or simply dress to impress.
**Think "Trunk or Treat" but with tables! Table Sponsors will have the option to decorate their table in a theme of their choosing-whether it's ghoulishly on-brand for their business or wildly whimsical from their imagination. Not feeling creative? No problem-we'll happily handle the haunting décor.

Q: Do I have to wear a costume or something special?
A: No, while we encourage you to be in the "spirit" of the event, we want you to be comfortable and have a good time!
Q: Do I have to be present to buy raffle tickets (when they become available) or to win a basket?
A: Yes and yes. New this year, you will need to purchase your tickets at the event, and you (or an appointed representative) will need to be present to win a raffle basket. We apologize for any inconvenience, and appreciate your cooperation! :)
