What to Expect at WSA's Gala and Annual Auction

We cannot wait to welcome the Walker community to an unforgettable evening at the WSA Gala: An Enchanted Garden and Annual Auction on Saturday, February 28, 2026.  Here is everything you need to know as we come together for an evening of natural elegance, celebration, and support of The Walker School!

6:00 p.m.  Reception (downstairs in The Brookside Room)
7:00 p.m.  Dinner & Welcome Remarks (upstairs in the Vickery Room)
9:30 p.m.  Auction Closes, but the party keeps going and bars remain open! 

10:00 p.m. Event Concludes

The evening will include a cocktail reception with hors d'oeuvres, dinner buffet, open bar, music, dancing, and our fabulous silent auction items up for bid. We are well on our way to our $50,000 fundraising goal, so be ready to bid now or at the event!

Auction & Wine Pull

The Auction will be open for all February 25-28, 2026. One benefit of attending the Gala is that in-person auction winners can take their item home! Beyond the silent auction, we'll have our annual Wine Pull. For $25, take home a fantastic bottle of wine donated by a Walker School parent!

Set Up Your Account

We use the GiveSmart platform to manage the Annual Auction. Be sure to set up your free account prior to arriving so you can easily participate onsite and bid on items at the event. Questions? Email [email protected]. 

Parking

Parking is free at Ivy Hall. An event parking director will be onsite.

Unsure About What to Wear?

The only rule is to have fun! The suggested attire is garden cocktail attire.  Think relaxed cocktail attire with floral touches, soft colors, and a bit of sparkle.   Note: The evening will flow between indoor and outdoor spaces on two levels, so we recommend comfortable shoes or stylish flats to keep you moving with ease.
