FAQs
WHO: All SFA families, parish members, and guests are welcome and are encouraged to attend! This is a parents-only event.
WHAT: The theme this year is "SFA Presents: A Night at the Derby"! Join us for a fun-filled evening of fellowship and the opportunity to bid on fantastic silent and live auction items to help support SFA School!
WHAT'S INCLUDED: Beer, seltzer, wine, seated dinner, entertainment & mingling.
ARE THERE VIP TABLES AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE? Yes! VIP tables are $2,500. That pricing includes admission for 10, premium wine, & reserved premium seating.
IF I DON'T PURCHASE A VIP TABLE, WILL I HAVE A PLACE TO SIT? Yes! Each ticket includes a seat at any open table. First come, first serve.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Kentucky Derby themed cocktail attire is welcomed, but not mandatory. Think floral, bows & hats!
WHERE: The auction will be held at St. Francis of Assisi gym, with casino tables and games in the cafeteria.
WHEN: Saturday, January 31, 2026, 5:30-11PM
HOW LONG IS THE AUCTION? Doors open at 5:30 PM with silent auction bidding and open bars. Dinner will start at 6:15 PM. The live portion of the auction will begin at 7:00 PM. The music will end by 11:00 PM.
WHY: The auction is our school's largest fundraiser! All money raised goes directly to our school for enhanced safety & security measures for the school, curriculum enhancements, teacher support, hospitality, field trips, and other identified needs for the growth of our school.

MORE ABOUT HOW YOUR PARTICIPATION HELPS!
The annual Bid 4 the Kids auction is our school's largest fundraiser! All money raised goes directly to SFA School for enhanced safety, curriculum enhancements including field trips and bussing, STEM, related arts, teacher support and hospitality including birthdays, playground maintenance, and other identified needs for growth of our school. All of which can be reviewed on the Leadership Councils website: 2025-2026 Leadership Council Budget
As we approach regionalization, it is important to note that ALL money raised stays within SFA and will continue to support our students as they grow in their Catholic faith and develop academically. Just your attendance at the event helps financially, plus adds to the overall enjoyment, sense of community and fellowship!
