Welcome to SMG Gives Days!
9.22.25 - 9.26.25

St. Mary of Gostyn is more than a school-it's a place where children are known, loved, and supported every single day. Our students are encouraged to learn, grow, and thrive under the guidance of passionate teachers and staff who pour their hearts into both faith and academics.

Today, schools everywhere face real challenges. There is a nationwide shortage of teachers, and talented educators who feel called to Catholic education are often faced with difficult choices as they consider where to share their gifts. At SMG, we never want those challenges to stand in the way of giving our children the very best. That is why we created the School Staff Enrichment Fund (SSEF).

The SSEF is more than just a fund-it's our commitment to the people who shape our children's future. Investing in our teachers means investing in our students-ensuring they continue to receive an excellent education rooted in faith, character, and academic growth. The SSEF is a critical step in retaining our talented and dedicated educators and recruiting new teachers to SMG in the future. By supporting our teachers, you're also directly benefiting our students-ensuring they continue to learn, grow, and thrive under the guidance of passionate and inspired educators.

For the 2025-2026 school year, our goal is to give every teacher and staff member additional compensation checks in both the fall and spring. To make this happen, we need to raise $170,000 during #SMGGIVESDAYS. If each school family gives $550, together we can reach this goal. Every gift-large or small-directly impacts the lives of our teachers and, in turn, the daily experience of our students.

Giving is quick and easy! You can choose the way that works best for your family. Give online instantly by credit card  or drop off a check at the School Office or Parish Center. If you'd like to set up a recurring monthly donation or have questions about making a gift, please contact Terri O'Dekirk at [email protected]

100% of all funds raised during #SMGGIVESDAYS will go directly into a restricted account for the SSEF, ensuring your gift strengthens the foundation of faith and learning for our children by supporting the teachers and staff who make SMG so extraordinary.

Together We Give. Together We Grow.
