In Memory of Eric: ALS Fight Like A Champion Fundraiser

We are excited to announce the annual "In Memory of Eric:  ALS Fight Like A Champion Fundraiser" on

Saturday, October 4, 2025.

After being diagnosed with ALS at age 29, Eric Von Schaumburg courageously battled ALS for over 10 years. It stripped him of his profession, his body and his speech -  but it could never take away his indomitable spirit and ability to help and inspire others.  His memory will live on forever!

Funds raised from this event will go towards an annual scholarship in Eric's name to a student from the Schaumburg High School football team, who is a true champion on and off the field and shows strong leadership, dedication & academic achievement.  The funds will also benefit the Les Turner ALS Foundation to help further the mission of creating a world without ALS and providing support to those living with ALS and their families.
