Silent Auction Open To Public!

At CASA of Brown County, we empower children, youth and young adults who have experienced abuse or neglect by partnering with volunteers to provide court-appointed advocacy and supportive mentoring to create lasting and positive change.
A CASA volunteer visits the child regularly and submits a monthly report to the judge on their safety and well-being. These reports helps the judge make important decisions about their futures. In 2024, 150 CASA volunteers advocated for 302 children in Brown County. A child with a CASA volunteer is more likely to get help with other services, spend less time living in foster care and do better in school!
We also provide a Fostering Futures Program for appointed youth ages 11 to 18 aimed at the successful transition to independent living after aging out of foster care. This program helps youth build practical skills and explore educational opportunities, engage with peers, and make connections to resources with their CASA volunteer by their side. In 2024, 51 youth participated in Fostering Futures.
Since June of 2023, we have also provided a Transition Aged Youth (TAY) Program that provides mentors for young adults ages 18 to 23 as they transition from living in foster care and work toward self-sufficiency. Mentors are currently working with 13 young adults. Together, we are changing stories!
