About Part of the Solution (POTS): Founded in 1982 and based in The Bronx, POTS offers a mosaic of services which come together to create a pathway forward for all who seek help. Through our comprehensive and personalized approach, we listen to the needs of our community and we seek to provide clients with the widest variety of services possible under one roof to help them in their journey to stability. POTS serves more than 34,000 low-income people annually under three programmatic pillars.
DIGNITY AND WELLNESS: These services include mailroom, a hot shower, haircuts, and access to medical and dental services.
FOOD SECURITY: POTS offers nutritionally balanced lunch from our community dining room and a fresh groceries from our pantry.
LONG-TERM STABILITY: Services include guidance to apply to public benefits, guidance for long-term personal and family growth and a legal clinic.
