A Special Shabbat & Congregational Celebration of Rabbi Steinberg

Join us for a meaningful Shabbat celebration honoring Rabbi Steinberg's unwavering purpose & spiritual guidance as we gather as a community to reflect on his 25 years of extraordinary leadership.

We will be hosting a pre-neg starting at 6pm, followed by the service, beginning at 7pm, and will feature some past SHM clergy, as well as our past Presidents. After the service, there will be a dessert oneg (reception) to celebrate as a community.

Celebrating 25 Years of Vision and Leadership

Please join us on Saturday night, January 24th, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Irvine for our "Night to Shine" gala as we celebrate Rabbi Steinberg's 25 years of leadership!

This Black-Tie Optional Evening to start at 6pm with our Cocktail Hour, Silent Auction, Appetizers, and more! At 7pm, the evening will flow into Dinner, Reception with Toasts to Rabbi Steinberg, Live Auction, and, of course, Dancing!

For 25 years, if you ask any Religious School alum what Rabbi Steinberg always says, you'll likely hear, "It's Cool to be Jewish". 

Join us in the Sanctuary for a brief, but meaningful celebration as students and teachers, from youngest to our teens, show Rabbi how much he means to them.
