Kristi Grussendorf is a renowned watercolor artist, whose work has been included in several national and international publications, and prestigious juried exhibitions - often, winning awards. She is a rostered instructor for the Utah Division of Arts & Museums.

This is an original watercolor painting done in the traditional transparent manner, which means that the whites in the image are the unpainted white of the paper. This highly technical technique is called negative painting. "Morning Bath #2" was painted from a reference photo she took during one of her daily walks in North Logan along the canal.

Kristi Grussendorf has earned signature status in the American Watercolor Society (AWS), the National Watercolor Society (NWS), the Transparent Watercolor Society of America (TWSA), Western Federation of Watercolor Societies (WFWS) and Utah Watercolor Society (UWS). She received her BFA from the University of Utah and is committed to being a lifelong student. She teaches for watercolor groups and societies all over this country and has been fortunate to teach plein air (painting outdoors in the "plain air") in both Spain & France. View her work, galleries, and more on her website - and don't miss a chance to display this wonderful piece in your living space while supporting reproductive freedom.
