Spend a memorable afternoon exploring the art of wine and cheese with acclaimed food writer and cheese expert Janet Fletcher. Janet Fletcher is a member of the Guilde Internationale des Fromagers, an invitation-only international cheese guild originally founded in France to connect and honor experts in the world of cheese.

Janet Fletcher is an award-winning food writer with three James Beard Awards. She is the author of numerous books, including Cheese & Wine, and the Audible lecture series "Cultured: The Epic Story of Cheese." Janet writes the weekly Planet Cheese blog, has taught cheese appreciation classes nationwide, and previously served as staff food writer and cheese columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Saveur, Fine Cooking, and Food & Wine.

Auction winners may pay for and pick up their items at the close of the Blue Skies Ahead live event on March14, 2026. Virtual participants may pick up their items, once paid for, from Mentis' main office at 1272 Hayes Street, Napa, CA, starting Monday, March 16, 2026, during regular business hours.
If winning bidders wish to have any items shipped, Mentis will provide information about shipping options after the auction closes. Shipping and insurance costs are the winning bidder's responsibility. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to Utah and Mississippi; shipping to MI, PA, VA, and NH is available at a higher rate.
